A- Hypnosis is a totally natural state of mind that has been used in a therapeutic way for thousands of years. In fact we all experience this state every day. It is a dreamy, drowsy state in between sleep and wakefulness, that pleasant, relaxing sensation when you are aware what is going on but you are too relaxed to be bothered to be interested.
Q - Is Hypnosis dangerous?
A - No. providing you are working with an experienced professional. If in doubt, check credentials.
Q - Can anyone be hypnotised?
A - Yes, people experience different depths of trance but most people can be hypnotised providing that they WANT to be and they follow the instructions given.
Q - Can I remain 'stuck' in hypnosis?
A - Definitely not. Nobody has ever been stuck in a trance state. After a short time you would wake normally or if you were tired you could (if you wanted to) drift into a normal sleep, waking a little later as normal.
Q - Can I be made to do anything against my will?
A - No. Certainly not. If any suggestions were made that did not conform to your own moral code then you would simply come out of hypnosis immediately.
hypnotherapy bares no resemblance to stage hypnosis whatsoever. All suggestions are for a therapeutic purpose only.
Q - How many sessions will it take?
A- Stop Smoking technique is done in one session (a back up session is included in the price in the very rare occasion it is required). For most other problems it is usual that the desired outcome can be achieved in between 3-5 sessions. Unlike suggestion hypnosis alone, the results of this advanced technique and EFT combined are extremely quick.
